2nd Anniversary Celebrations - Women in Business Luncheon
Our journey in establishing the St George Regional Business Bank Women in Business luncheons began 2 years ago........and so it called for a CELEBRATION to mark our Second Birthday......38 Business ladies from the Shoalhaven area joined us for lunch.......
On Wednesday 15th June 2011 we enjoyed fine food and wine at the well positioned BOATSHED by the bridge Restaurant (new owner Tracey Hain).
We were enthralled by our enthusiastic speaker - Michelle Miran who provided a very interesting talk - Challenges and Opportunities.....One Woman's journey.
Michelle was a finalist for the Telstra Business Woman of the Year award in 2000, missing out to Gai Waterhouse.
In her words she likes to "work, be productive and make a contribution to her community".....it was Aunty Mame who said "life is a banquet and some poor sucker out there is starving" This is Michelle's moto - life is for living and I don't wan't to die and say what if.......
Thankyou Michelle for giving of your time to share your life with us...x
