NEWS....NEWS....NEWS....at last year's Charity lunch we raised funds for the
Shoalhaven Cancer Care Centre and last Thursday we officially donated the funds to the Centre, also enjoying a tour of this very modern, well equipped Centre.

With Your Help we raised $656.00 and St George Regional Business Bank Women in Business rounded it off to $800.00.

Thank you so much for your contributions.

Guest Speaker Sophie Ray

Sophie Ray is a former corporate lawyer who now owns and runs Silos Estate Winery, with her husband Raj.

Sophie grew up in Sydney but due to her father’s scientific career, spent periods of her childhood living in San Francisco, Beijing, Paris and Oxford.  On leaving school, Sophie completed a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law at Sydney University.

Sophie spent 14 years working as a Commercial Litigation & Trade Practices lawyer at PricewaterhouseCoopers, in its Sydney and London offices, leaving as a Director.

In 2007, Sophie and her husband Raj decided to leave corporate life for the more peaceful climes of Berry, and bought Silos Estate Winery. Silos Estate has won numerous awards, including Shoalhaven Business of the Year in 2012.

When she’s not looking after their two young daughters, or working in the business, Sophie has served as the secretary of the Berry Preschool, and is currently the secretary of the Shoalhaven Education Fund.

The Shoalhaven Education Fund will be the beneficiary of this years fund raiser.
The fund raises money to assist disadvantaged Shoalhaven young people with the costs of attending University, TAFE, taking up an apprenticeship or starting entry level work.

So please book your diary for that date......Wednesday 15th October, 2014.
